The nurses at Samitivej International Children’s Hospital are continuously supported to enhance their knowledge and skills to ensure the highest efficiency in patient care. They participate in training and educational programs in various fields with Doernbecher Children’s Hospital - Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in the United States and Takatsuki General Hospital in Japan, a government hospital specializing in neonatal care with experience managing premature infants weighing as little as 286 grams. Additionally, a team of occupational therapists, doctors, nurses and dedicated volunteers work together to organize the Child Life Program, which aims to restore the emotional well-being of pediatric patients during their hospital stay, helping children feel warm and happy throughout their treatment.
